This traditional straw target gives nice romantic look and feel to any archery practice and competition. It is easy to handle and carry as a target of this size can easily be taken with you to a meadow, garden, forest or archery range, wherever you are practicing whether inside or outside. This target is easily propped up for shooting, you can just lean it against a tree or put it in on a separate archery stand that lifts the target off the ground.

Straw is nice target material as the arrows are easy to pull off from the target and as a 100% natural and economical material straw has been used in archery throughout history. However it's a good idea to store the target with good air circulation to avoid mold. So don't for example cover with plastic after praticing in a downpour.

You can use this target for accuracy and distance competitions and if you want smaller areas for scoring you can paint bullseye to the center of the board or additional circles. You can also attach a removable paper target over the straw target with few small nails.

There are two options to choose from. Both targets are 80 cm in diameter and both are made of 100% straw. The difference is the density of the target. The regular-version can be used with bows with max 40 pounds draw strength, meaning that this version is good for most shooters. Arrows that are shot with stronger bows have so much energy that they will go through the regular board. For stronger bows you have the heavy-option. The straws are packed in much denser and tighter in the heavy target, which is enough to stop even the strongest arrows.

-Max 80 pound draw weight bows and 250fps crossbows
-Diameter approx. 80 cm, thickness approx. 8-9 cm and weight approx. 19 kg.
