By the 3rd quarter of the 14th Century this type of helm, which was called "pig faced" by the English or "Hounds Skull" by the Germans, had emerged as the most popular form and could be found on the battle-fields all over Europe. Our offering is from 1.24 mm (18gauge) steel with an antiqued finish.
Approx. 66cm (26") circumference with an adjustable leather liner with chin strap. Weight 2 kg (4 2/5 lbs).
