Description of the Product

During the Renaissance most people carried on them a weapon of some sort, and large daggers were very common. Although cannons were already in steady use on the battlefields, portable firearms were still very much a work in progress and civilians still sorted their differences with blades. In most cities a large dagger, alongside with common sense, was a man’s best bet. This dagger has a high quality hand forged high carbon steel blade, and the pommel and cross-guard are cast brass. Wooden grip is covered with leather. Leather scabbard with brass parts is included.
