Restrictions

  • Because we sell potentially dangerous weapons some age restrictions apply.
    • Clothing, accessories, helmets, armor and synthetic and wooden weapons can be ordered by anyone.
    • Steel weapons, over 25lbs bows and arrows with metal points can be ordered only by persons over 18 years of age.
    • Note: By ordering any items you confirm that you fulfill these age restrictions.

 

  • Not all items can be shipped to all countries.
    • Different countries have different import restrictions, and checking these restrictions is the customers’ responsibility. Some countries might require for a pre-import permit for certain items. Irongate Armory is not responsible for products seized by customs. Outside the EU any duties and taxes are the customers’ responsibility.  Read more here.
    • Aerosols cannot be shipped via air mail, so Ballistol oil can only be shipped within Finland.
    • Firearm replicas can only be shipped via UPS if shipping outside Finland. To the United States, Canada and Australia firearm replicas cannot currently be shipped at all.

 

  • The minimum order amount is 5€ excluding postage. For orders shipping to the UK the minimum order amount excluding postage is 135GBP.

Prices

All prices as shown on the internet pages of Irongate Armory. All shown prices include VAT (value added tax). Shipping and handling cost is calculated by the size of the biggest item in shopping cart, chosen shipping method and the destination country. The shipping and handling cost is charged only once per order and the cost does not depend on the amount or weight of items in the order. Shipping and handling is charged only once even if the items are shipped separetely.

Irongate Armory retains the right not to sell any items that have their price shown relevantly wrong. The error in shown price may be a cause of either technical or human error. In error situations Irongate Armory will contact the customer directly and all cases will be dealt individually. The customer always has the right (but not responsibility) to buy selected items at their correct cost in all error cases.

The minimum order amount is 5€ excluding postage. Irongate Armory retains the right to cancel and refund orders which fall under this limit.

PLEASE NOTE: unfortunately due to UK VAT regulations orders to the United Kingdom below 135GBP can no longer be accepted. These will be refunded automatically.

If the same customer keeps placing orders in violation of these terms and conditions, and we have to cancel the order before it is shipped, we reserve the right to deduct a 5€ handling fee from the amount to be refunded.

Shipping methods

Postal parcel in Finland: Standard shipping method inside Finland. Choose the most convenient parcel point for picking up your order. The parcel will be delivered to the post office/parcel point/Smartpost locker you prefer. If the location you have chosen is full, the parcel will be automatically re-routed to the nearest available location. Please note that if the parcel is redirected to a location that is within reasonable distance of the original, it cannot be changed. The parcel can only be re-directed if it is obviously in a wrong location. When your package is ready to be picked up you will receive a text message with instructions and a code to open the door of the automatic Posti Parcel Point. Using Smartpost requires a cell phone that can receive text messages. Smartpost parcel points are available only in Finland. From a Post Office the parcel can be picked up with the shipping code of your order.

Home Delivered Parcel in Finland: Parcel will be delivered to any home address anywhere within Finland. To use this shipping method the customer has to set a phone number to their account information. Post personnel will contact the customer and arrange a suitable time (between 9-21 from Monday to Friday) to deliver the parcel. If the customer is not reached with two attempts, a call-back request to arrange a delivery time will be delivered to the customer. If the delivery is not successful the parcel will return to Irongate Armory. In this case the return postal fees will be charged to the customer. After this the parcel can be re-sent to the customer at the customers expense. Irongate Armory is liable to hold the returned items for 21 days.

The shipping code can be seen on the “Your order has been shipped” -email and also on your order information -page after we have shipped the items. The parcel has to be picked up from the post office/SmartPost within 7 days. If the customer doesn’t pick up the parcel within 7 days the parcel will return to Irongate Armory. In this case the return postal fees will be charged to the customer. After this the parcel can be picked up from the Irongate Armory warehouse or it can be re-sent to the customer at the customers expense. Irongate Armory is liable to hold the returned items for 21 days.

International Postal Parcel: Finnish Posti Priority Parcel to anywhere in the world. Affordable and reliable delivery. All parcels can be traced using parcels shipping code. Shipping code can be seen on the order information -page after shipping of the items. Final delivery of the parcel depends on the destination country. In some countries parcels are delivered directly to the addressee and in others a notification will be delivered to addressee and the parcel can be picked up from the post office. If the delivery is not successful the parcel will return to Irongate Armory. In this case the return postal fees will be charged to the customer. After this the parcel can be re-sent to the customer at the customers expense. Irongate Armory is liable to hold the returned items for 21 days.

UPS: once you have filled all your address details, you will see all the available UPS shipping options, prices and their estimated delivery times. UPS ships world wide, and parcels can be tracked with a tracking code. For firearm replicas, UPS is the only choice if shipping outside Finland. UPS must be chosen as the shipping method if the order contains firearm replicas or their decorative cartridges, and they will be shipped with the requirement of an adult signature on delivery. If the delivery is not successful the parcel will return to Irongate Armory. In this case the return postal fees will be charged to the customer. After this the parcel can be re-sent to the customer at the customers expense. Irongate Armory is liable to hold the returned items for 21 days.

Warehouse Pickup: All ordered items can be picked up from our store (Kaarina, Finland) during the store opening hours.  The payment options in the store are cash, bank card, or major credit cards.

Delivery times

Posti:

  • To Finland: 3-5 working days
  • To other Nordic Countries: 3-7 working days
  • Elsewhere in Europe: 4-9 working days
  • Rest of the world: 7-16 working days

These delivery times are just estimates and are not to be taken as promises of exact delivery time. Parcels can sometimes be delayed on the way and we can’t affect these accidents. If the delivery time will be considerable longer (because of Irongate Armory) customer will be notified. Also note that all special holidays etc. affect the parcel traffic and delivery times can be longer during these times. Listed delivery times are only for items that we have in stock. Delivery times for out of stock items can be inquired via email.

Payment methods

Cash On Delivery:
Payment to post office when picking up the parcel. A 7,50€ COD-fee will be added to the order. This fee is non-refundable in case the order is returned. Post offices accept many different payment methods. Please note that some SmartPost dispensers do not have payment options. Available only in Finland. Irongate Armory reserves the right to decline COD-orders if the customer has outstanding deliveries that have not been picked up.

Payment service provider: Paytrail
Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) acts as an implementer of the payment handling service and as a Payment Service Provider. Paytrail Oyj will be shown as the recipient in the invoice and Paytrail Oyj will forward the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj is an authorized Payment Institution. For reclamations, please contact the website you made your payment to.

Paytrail: Mobile

Mobilepayments Pivo, MobilePay and Siirto are services usable as mobile applications, where you can pay straight from your bank account or as a card payment, by accepting the purchase in the application.

Paytrail: Netbanks
Purchases can be paid instantly during check-out using online bank’s access codes. All Finnish netbanks are supported. During check-out you will be directed to your netbank where you log in, accept the payment and finally return to Irongate Armory webshop when the payment is processed and accepted.

Paytrail Oyj (FI2122839) provides netbank related payment transfer services in co-operation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. For consumer the service works exactly the same way as traditional web payments.

Paytrail: Credit cards

You can pay with Visa-, Visa Debit-, Visa Electron-, MasterCard-, Debit MasterCard – and American Express –cards. The web shop uses international verification services Verified by Visa -, MasterCard SecureCode – and American Express SafeKey.

When you pay via your credit card, Paytrail Plc will appear as the receiver of the payment on the statement, who will forward the payment onward to the merchant. The payment is made with a secure payment form, and the card details are not stored in the web shop systems.

Paytrail: invoice and installment
Paytrail offers invoice and installment services through OP, Walley and Jousto for Finnish consumers. Walley also has an invoice option for Finnish businesses. Make sure to read the terms and conditions which appear as you are about to approve the payment. With approval of the payment, you also approve their terms and conditions.

OP Lasku

OP Lasku is for Finnish consumers. You can use a credit of up to 5000€ and pay back without interest within 45 days. You can also pay back in installments. The invoices are sent via e-mail. You can use OP Lasku is you are over 20 years of age and have Finnish online banking codes. A fee of 2,95€ is added to the invoice. When paying by installments, the yearly interest rate is 19,95%. The credit is issued by OP Yrityspankki Oyj, Osoite: Gebhardinaukio 1, 00510 Helsinki.

WALLEY

Together with Walley, we offer invoice and installment payments. When selecting invoice or installment payments, you receive your goods before you pay. You can then choose to pay the whole amount at once or to break up the payments into smaller installments. Due date can vary and is presented on the invoice sent to you. Delivery method and possible fees added is shown in the checkout before confirming the purchase. Walley adds an invoicing fee of 3,95€ to the invoice. A small credit check is carried out, which in some cases requires credit information. In the event of delayed or missed payments, a penalty fee and penalty interest is charged.

JOUSTO

Jousto run a credit check on the consumer using the consumer’s personal identification number and the consumer has to identify themselves using their online bank credentials. Once this is completed, the company immediately grants or denies the consumer’s requested purchase amount.

The consumer is sent an invoice to their home after they have received their products. The consumer can pay the entire invoice or choose to pay in installments.

Credit limit: 30-3000€. For invoice: Invoice fee is 2,90€. For installment: 3,90€ account management fee added to each month’s bill, plus an interest rate (19,9% nominal annual interest rate).

PayPal

We accept PayPal-payments. If you choose PayPal as the payment method, you will be forwarded to PayPal, where you can log onto your account.

Cancelling an order

Orders can be cancelled partially or fully before shipping of the goods. Order can be cancelled by email. Note that there can be up to 24h delay before the email is processed. Failing to collect an order which has been shipped does not constitute cancellation.

Returns and Exchanges – Finland

Every item can be returned within 14 days after the receipt of item. All returned items must be unused, in original condition and shipped back in the original packaging.

Instructions: Fill out the Return/Exchange Form and package item(s) carefully.  Remember that the item(s) are still on your responsibility while on the return trip. Attach Return/Exchange Form into the parcel.

Returns using the Posti Helposti code: Get your return code needed for shipping from posti.fi/returnparcel by entering your original shipping code (Code beginning with JJFI). Drop the parcel at any Post office or parcel point according to the instructions given at Posti-wesite. Post personnel will redirect the parcel back to Irongate Armory. The shipping fees will also be charged from Irongate Armory.

Return is 100% free for the customer. When we have received the parcel we will act according to your wishes: return the total cost of items (including shipping fees) to your bank account, give store credit or send you the items to be exchanged. When returning shipping charges only the basic standard shipping costs will be returned. COD-charge is non-refundable. Store all receipts from the post office for future reference.

If you wish to return and/or exchange multiple items in your order, return them all in the same shipment, not as individual parcels. The customer is allowed one free return/exchange per order, with the seller paying the shipping costs. Possible subsequent other returns/exchanges will be paid by the customer.

Exchanges to items of a different value are not possible. In those cases the seller will refund the cost of the returned items, and the customer can then make a new order for those different items.

Exchange orders are always delivered as a standard post parcel (no home delivery).

If your order total has qualified the order for free shipping, a discount or a gift, and you return some products so that the final value of the order is less than the value entitling to the discount / rebate / gift, they will be deducted from the amount to be refunded.

Irongate Armory does not accept items sent after the allocated time for returning the items (14 days after receipt of items). If items are returned after this time through Posti using Irongate Armory’s customer returns arrangement (without consulting us beforehand) all shipping fees will be charged to the customer. Unapproved returns can be picked up from the warehouse of Irongate Armory after the charges are cleared. Irongate Armory is responsible to store returned items for 21 days. After 21 days items can be resold to cover the charges.

Order cancellations and reclamations (notice of defects) must be sent to [email protected].

Irongate Armory does not accept items sent after the allocated time for returning the items (14 days after receipt of items). If items are returned after this time items returned faulty can be picked up from the warehouse of Irongate Armory or shipped to the customer at his/hers expense. Irongate Armory is responsible to store returned items 21 days.

Irongate Armory will not accept returning parcels from outside the EU, which have for example not been delivered, have not been cleared through customs, or where the address has been insufficient. Those parcels will be disposed of by the shipping provider or a customs agency.

Making an agreement/contract

An agreement has been made between a customer and Irongate Armory when the customer confirms the order on the last page of ordering process. Before this the customer can freely change items in shopping basket and/or change any options of the ordering process.
