This particular blade form was put to use during a wide range of European history by a wide range of cultures, from Ancient Celts and Greeks to well through the Renaissance. The blade is tempered steel and the socket fits a 30mm (1 1⁄5") round pole (not included). Use with our round ended butt cap or flat ended butt cap.

I Like My European ” Celtic ” Spear head, I was a bit let down when I look at the bottom of my shaft and It says “Windlass Made in India”. I thought I was purchasing a Finnish Spear, thats what drew me to Irongate Armory. I really Can’t complain tbh, This Spear is ” Bulletproof” I’m Really hard on my Tools/ Toys & Equipment and I’ve sent this guy Hard!
” After owning it for a Proper 30 days ” I feel confident in saying even know it’s NOT made in Finland, it’s one tough, Sturdy, well Made Celtic Spear, So Thanks for having a Reputable Sub Contractor that makes your Steel Top Shelf. Overall Happy Customer, Tons of vids on Beantown Bushcraft on YouTube on this Guy, P.S. I used a Maple shaft we found in the woods and it throws Amazing, Wicked strong, Great Heat treat. Sláinte ☘️

Ihan perussiisti ja ok kapistus. Hintaa kun miettii niin ehkä vähän kalliin puoleinen mutta eipä näitä mistään halvemmalla saa, Rautaportilla oikein kilpailukykyinen hinta tässä. Tämä kärki yhdistettynä kantarautaan (tässä tapauksessa tasapäiseen) sillai että välissä on pari metriä pyöröpuuta (tammi tai kovapuu olis jees mutta Suomessa kun ollaan niin mäntyä) niin tuli oikein komia 2,5 m keihäs. Kun kärjet vielä sinisti niin tuli antiikkisempaa fiilistä.
