Description of the Product

The Practical Taiji (Tai Chi) series from Hanwei has been as developed as a quality Taiji sword for everyday practice. The sword is available in three blade lengths to suit the individual requirements of the practitioner.

Featuring a steel guard and pommel, the swords are correctly balanced. The blades are crafted in fully tempered high-carbon steel. The flattened-diamond blade section produces a blade that is moderately stiff, while still allowing for some flexibility.

I purchased this sword to replace one just like it that was lost years ago. There was some nervousness, as I learned Hanwei forge went through some issues and has new owners now. There was no need to worry. The sword arrived safely, and looks and feels exactly as my old one did. The sword looks great, has tasteful lines and fittings, and the blade is a good balance between firmness with a little flexibility.

Also, Irongate Armory was a pleasure to do business with, answered my questions and provided some good information about Hanwei. I recommend this sword and buying from them.
