Description of the Product

This Mask Overlay by Red Dragon is designed for HEMA and adds an extra layer of protection to your fencing mask. Incoming blows are harder in Historical European Martial Arts compared to other fencing sports so this extra protection for your head and neck is much needed.

The back of head protection features a series of articulated rigid plastic plates allowing for a combination of protection and mobility. The durable suede hood is padded to absorb impact from blows and features 4 ventilation holes (2 on each side) which provide excellent heat release without sacrificing protection. Features an elasticated chin-strap and adjustable webbing strap with Velcro attachment for a comfortable fit. Mask not included.

This extra protection works with any fencing mask regardless of the manufacturer, not just masks made by Red Dragon.

bit stiff fyrst but loosen up and fits your red dragon helmet like a glove afterwards! only issue is that i wish it came in more colors! 5/5

  Super impressed! I'll admit I'm no historian, but the cloak I purchased was both fashionable and practical!
