All the tools are razor-sharp and ready to use right out of the box, and the blades are made of high-quality high-carbon steel. All the knives have ergonomic handles that are made of ashwood and covered with natural linseed oil. The set also comes with a leather strop and a polishing compound.

The tools are sharpened to a 20° bevel angle, making them ideal for carving soft wood. We do not recommend using them on hardwood, as the fine edge may dull more quickly with tougher materials.
