Description of the Product
Breathable and stylish, this historical shirt design is useful for a variety of different ensembles. This versatile shirt can be worn by both men and women. This shirt has a stand up collar and drawstrings on the front. The sleeves are wide and puffed up and finish gathered at the cuff. The pleats at both the front and at the back, as well as at the sleeves, increase its appeal.
The cuffs can be raised easily above elbows during those hot summer days or when working on the docks to avoid dirtying the shirt.
As a simple and unadorned shirt this is excellent choice for many characters from the end of the medieval times till 19th century. Also excellent as a period undershirt with vests, doublets and coats. Stand up collars were introduced to shirts in mid 1400's and different styles and sizes of collars have been seen during these centuries since the Renaissance with this fashion still going on strong. Varying versions of this classical stand up collar -look are still in use today.

Kätevimpiä ja mukavimpia paitoja, mitä omistan. Olen käyttänyt töissä ja kotona. Mukavan viileä ja miellyttävä päällä. Kuminauhat hihoissa helpottavat käsien pesua ja muita hommia, joissa hihat pitää vetää ylös tai ihan vaan lämpimämpänä päivänä. Viileämpänä päivänä tähän voi vetää päälle liivin tai mekon ja taas tarkenee. Käytän näitä ympäri vuoden.
Minulla on yksi jokaista väriä. Kaksi koossa M ja kaksi koossa S. Molemmat koot ovat ihan sopivia tällaiselle 150cm hobitin malliselle ihmiselle. Normaalisti käytän vaatteissa kokoa M.
Väreistä: Sininen, viininpunainen ja ruskea ovat luonnossa vähän tummemmat, mitä minun näytölläni näyttää (tämä on tietysti näyttökohtaista). Valkoinen yllätti iloisesti olemalla vähän enemmän luonnonvalkoinen, miltä kuvassa näytti, mutta silti selvästi enemmän puhdas valkoinen kuin kerman valkoinen.
Ja näitä ei ole kertaakaan silitetty ja arkikäytössä sille ei ole mitään tarvettakaan. Sen verran sileänä pysyvät itsestään. Juhliin luultavasti silittäisin kevyesti.

Väljä pitkähihainen vaate toimii yhtä kokoa suurempana kotioloissa tunikana ja myös yöasuna. Kangas on aina siisti. Kuminauha hihansuissa on kätevä. Rintamuksen tyylikäs puuvillanauhakuja ja pystykaulus ovat ikimuodikkaita elementtejä. Kotiväki ja vieraat ihailevat kostyymiani.
