Description of the Product
High quality hat for a witch or a wizard. Made of felted 100% wool that keeps the shape well. Flexible and soft wool insulates well and even keeps rain out of your hair, if for example Saruman sends some storms your way to interrupt your adventures. Wool naturally repels dirt and is therefore easy to clean.
The conical shape makes this hat suit most heads. Will fit perfectly anyone with a medium or even a large head size. However, felted wool can be shaped and stretched if the size is not appropriate. The wool material should stretch out and fit your head size with no problems. Soak the hat in water (there is no need to soak the whole hat, only the part you want to stretch and just a little around it) and let dry while stretched – you can even use your own head if you don't have a suitable hat block or even a ball nearby. As the hat dries, the felted wool settles to its new size.
The diameter of the wizards hat head hole is approx. 19 cm and the circumference is approx. 60 cm. Felt is a bit stretchy, so this is approximate measurement. Also as this soft felt hat stretches a bit when you put it on, this hat can be worn even if you have slightly larger head. There is a cord in the wizards hat that can be used to tighten the head hole and make it smaller.
If the wizard hat feels a bit large there's also a smaller version available. Witch hat is made of same material, is similar style but it’s overall smaller.

Its soft breathable wool will shield you from every element, from ice to fire. Its thick fabric makes it suitable for vampire wizards to be shielded from the sun up to their shoulderpads.

Really happy with the hat I received! Like others have said, the large size IS maybe slightly larger than you’d expect, but it sits well. The finishing on the felt is nice, and the brim is surprisingly thick. Honestly this was a much nicer hat than I’d even hoped I’d be getting. 🙂
