A cloak has been an integral part of clothing in many cultures, as it protects the wearer from the elements, is fast and easy to put on and take off, and it doesn’t restrict arm movement. In medieval times a cloak like this would have served several purposes: it kept the wearer warm and dry, protected other clothes from wear and tear and could be used as a blanket to wrap oneself in whilst sleeping.
The natural qualities of felted sheep wool mean that the cloak is waterproof, so it can be used as a raincoat or a shelter from the rain. Waterproof qualities make this cloak ideal for the autumn and wintertime adventures in the woods. This cloak is a versatile piece of clothing, suitable to accompany almost any outfit giving them that little bit of extra authenticity. The weather no longer gets to make you choose between dressing appropriately and dressing comfortably, whether in the woods or to a banquet.
- This full sized cloak is suitable for all shapes and sizes
- Approximately 135 cm long from the shoulder down
- Width of cloak at bottom seam c. 430 cm, width at shoulder height c. 160 cm.
- Depending on the colour, the cloaks are made of approximately 65-75% sheep wool, 7-22% polyester, 2-7% nylon, 2,5-7% cotton and 0-7% viscose
- Available in black, brown, grey, blue, burgundy, green and off-white

Hyvä perusviitta kestävän oloista ja todennäköisesti myös kevyen sateen pitävää kangasta. Kiinnitystapa on vähän korni, olen tottunut koukku + lenkki -kiinnitykseen, mutta toimiihan tuokin. Kankaassa on myös melko topakka käsittelyaineen tai muun kemikaalin haju, mutta se haihtunee käytössä. Viitan saaja oli siihen niin tyytyväinen, että otti sen käyttöön myös osana oleskeluasuaan kotona.

Tilaus tuli nopeasti ja materiaali oli mieleinen. Kokoonsa nähden yllättävän kevyt. Minun punainen viittani oli hieman liian pitkä, joten lyhensin sitä ja ompelin nauhaa helmaan. Kokeilin pitääkö väri kastelemalla irrottamaani kangasta. Siitä lähti vähän punaista, joten uutena ehkä ei sateeseen vaaleaa vaatetta alle, jollei halua siihen punertavaa väriä. Hyvä ostos jota voi myös itse muokata.

It also works as a cape, and capes are very cool.
I got a brown one to fit with the brown wizard hat, while the textures and colors differ slightly it is not enough for me to care, just saying this incase anyone else is planning on doing the same thing.
