This is a common medieval shoe style from mainly 14th and 15th Century. However very similar shoes were worn from 1250 up to 16th century across Europe, so these shoes can be worn throughout medieval times.

Ostin kengät täydentämään keskiaikafestivaalieni asua.
Otin numeroa suuremmat kuin normaalisi, ja se oli hyvä ratkaisu. Paksumpikin sukka mahtuu tarvittaessa väliin.
Alussa kengät hieman kinnasivat, mutta kun maltoin niitä parin viikon aikana käyttää muutamina päivinä aluksi tunnista pariin, ja sitten pisimmillään viiteen tuntiin kerrallaan, niin kengät muokkautuivat hyvin jalkaan, ja keskiaikafestivaaleilla niiden kanssa ei ollut pienintäkään ongelmaa.
Pohja on liukas. Se ei tunnu siltä, ja pitää varmasti suurimmassa osassa alustoja ja ulkona, mutta kotimatkalla ABC:lla kahvilla käydessä meinasin liukastua, vaikka karhennutin pohjat suutarilla. Sitähän en tiedä, olisiko lattialla ollut jotain.

Hyvät laakukkaat nahkakengät, otin aluksi 2 numeroa isommat mitä jalan todellinen koko. Palautin kengät ja sain yhden numeron pienemmät. Palautus meni sopimusnumerolla ja ei maksa mitään. Näissä kengissä on tavalla tai toisella kengänpohja muotoiltu jo jalalle, minulla mahtuu hyvin jalkakääre, villasukka ja lisäpohjallinen kengän sisään hyvin. Kenkiä ei tarvitse venyttää erikseen, kuitenkin nämäkin nahkakengät ovat syytä totuttaa jalkoihin, jotta kengät istuvat jalkaan ja kesken taistelun ei tule nirhaumia. Tässä kengässä oli minulle tarpeeksi leveä lesti, mikä on hyvä asia, varpaat mahtuivat hyvin. Jos nahkaiset kengännauhat katkeavat ovat ne helposti vaihdettavissa, kengän nauhoja ei ole erikseen ommeltu kenkiin kiinni. Kenkien kanssa voi käyttää rengashaarniska suojaa jaloille, tosin niille ei ole erikseen kiinnitystä kengissä mutta ohuella nahkanarulla se hoituu helposti. Laadukasta palvelua Rautaportilta!
