Description of the Product
Combining the clean aesthetic beauty of Japanese blade art with absolute performance; meet the impressive new Gokudo Aikuchi - a compact one handed shirasaya short sword. From sketching to forging, creating this weapon was a time consuming task; we wanted to forge a perfectly balanced edged weapon with fierce cutting power and flawless wielding. Sori (the curve of the blade), a wide motohaba and an extensive kissaki are carefully contemplated to achieve our goal. In skilled hands the Gokudo Aikuchi is set to put out inconceivable outcome.
Fully hand forged nagasa is hazuya-polished and sharpened from the strong and proven T10 steel. Appealing shinogi line with extra long kissaki are completed with frantic real clay tempered hamon. Resulting one of the finest samurai sword we have forged.
All black samegava rayskin wrapped hardwood tsuka is embellished with our custom made silver menukis on both side of the handle. A custom made, and meticulously fitted copper habaki, is sure to set an impressive appearance.
Full custom made harwood saya features uniquely shaped real buffalo horn kojiri, real buffalo horn kurikata and koikuchi. Beneath premium grade silk sageo the saya is fitted with samegava rayskin. Lacquered in all black to give an outstanding stylish look for the samurai sword.
Gokudo Aikuchi samurai sword comes in an embroidered BattleBlades Inc. silk sword bag with a serial numbered certificate of authenticity.
