Description of the Product

A lot of time and effort has gone into getting these guards right. It is a delicate balance of safety, durability and aesthetics. They are based on a real historical design - the balls on the end of the quillons make for a much safer guard with little risk of impalement.
They are manufactured from a very tough material which provides a good balance between impact and flexural strength. However, they are plastic and not steel and will break under less pressure than similar metal counterparts. This is a specifically designed inbuilt safety feature - we want the guard to break before you do! Manufactured in the U.K.
