Hnefatafl (ˈne-fə-taː-f(ə)l) is a simple game of strategy, that has been popular since 400 AD especially in Scandinavia. The name roughly translates as “The King's Table”, recalling a time of the powerful Viking jarls and their battling armies. Since it´s day of origin, Hnefatafl has stood the test of time as a great game for all the family.
This high quality Hnefatafl set contains 37 playing pieces; consisting of 1 king, 12 defenders and 24 attackers in two different coloured designs. The set also includes a natural linen playing board, and playing rules in English, Norwegian, Spanish, French, German & Japanese.

Viikinkipeli on mielenkiintoinen ja mukavan erilainen verrattuna muihin lautapeleihin. Setin pelinappulat, alusta ja säilytyslaatikko ovat tosi hienot. Tosin kankaista pelialustaa piti jonkun aikaa suoristaa, että ei oo rypyssä.
