Description of the Product
The monk’s robe has remained almost unchanged in use all the way through to modern times, so this robe is actually one of the most modern costumes we sell. A monk’s robe may be the most versatile and modest garment one could own, but don't let its simple looks fool you. The person wearing it has most likely earned it through religious, magical or other secretive means. It was a mark of humble accomplishment and immense power. Our rough textured fabric is 100 % heavy cotton weave and generously cut for the most devoted. The robe comes with a long tail hood which can be worn separately, as well as a jute rope belt.
This product is handmade from a lively fabric, designed to look like an old handmade garment. Thus, there may be slight surface damage or imperfections in the fabric. The color and texture may also vary slightly.

Ostin mustan 2XL/3XL-kokoisen kaavun ja olin oikein tyytyväinen. 198cm/155kg miehelle kaapu oli hyvinkin reilu, kuten tällaisen kaavun mielestäni pitääkin olla. Helmaa hieman joudun ehkä lyhentämään, rappusissa liikkuessa meinaa jäädä jalan alle, eli pituutta riittää vielä pidemmällekin käyttäjälle. Materiaali oli oikein laadukkaan tuntuista ja tämä tulee luultavasti palvelemaan vielä pitkään erinäisissä merkeissä.

Todella hyvä ja oikean näköinen. 176 cm pitkälle L/XL oli vähän turhan pitkä, helma laahasi maata/ruohoa, mutta tein siihen 5 cm lyhennyksen ja nyt on hyvä.

Ostin s/m koon rituaali käyttöön. Pitkä ja erittäin leveä suhteessa hihoihin mutta tosi vaikuttava. Vyön kanssa toimii hyvin mutta itsellä on tarkoitus käyttää ilman vyötä. Huppu oli suhteessa muuhun tukala. Hyvä kangas ja hyvin ommeltu. Tosi hieno!

L/XL kaapu on runsas ja upea – näyttävä! Olen normaalivartaloinen 180 cm käyttäjä. Kangas on oikeasti hyvän tuntuista ja näköistä. Tämä tuntuu kestävältä – myös ekologisesti. En ole pitänyt siitä polyesteri-krääsästä mikä istuu huonosti, näyttää hirveältä ja hajoaa helposti, mitä saapuu sesongeittain kauppohin tai on aina tarjolla tavallisissa naamiais- ja juhlakaupoissa. Tämä kaapu on upea tällaisenaan, mutta ostopäätöstäni siivitti se että näen tämän kaavun monivuotisena ja -käyttöisenä: Halloween, larppi, roolipelit, naamiaiset, miksei yleishengailu, jos siltä tuntuu. Siitä saa hupun irti jolloin se on vain kaapu. Asuun voi yhdistää naamaria hupun alle tai käsineitä, jolloin tuo voi olla melko laajasti jokin haamu/hirviö/demoni. Toisaalta tuosta voi korvata vyön “modernimmaksi”, jolloin keskiaikaimaisuuden voi viedä vaikka scifin suuntaan: ei muuta kuin lasermiekka käteen. Jos haluaa korostaa keskiaikaista/fantasia vibaa: sen kuin ottaa jonkun vanhan kirjan/Raamatun/kääreen tai valtavan kepin käteen tai koristaa asua jollain rujolla korulla. En tiedä miten löysin tämän sivuston, mutta olen todella tyytyväinen. Puolisoni jo miettii, mistä hän löytäisi vastaavan monikäyttöisen ja laadukkaan asusteen.

XXL/XXXL on todella pitkä käsien kohdalta hihat on oikean pituiset minuille mutta pituus on noin 20cm liian pitkä. Mukavan tuntuista kangasta ja huppu on oikean kokoinen minulle ja on sopivan tiukka mutta pitkulainen.
