We proudly present state-of-the-art Senshi Daishō - a set of two superior quality real swords: Senshi Erai Hito No Katana and Senshi Erai Hito No Wakizashi. Both weapons feature a handforged and polished shita-kitae folded 1095 steel blade with wide bo-hi, genuine clay tempered hamon and beautiful chu-kissaki. This is a real Daisho sword set that all collectors want to own!
The hardwood tsuka is katatemaki-wrapped in brown silk ito and features silver plated menukis with silver lined iron tsuba, kashira and fuchi. The same, made of colored rayskin, sets the final touch on the luxurious koshirae.
The founders of Battle Blades Inc. have several decades of experience on japanese samurai swords and the swords honor the Japanese samurai culture. All the details are carefully designed and made. On this particular Daisho sword the ambitious saya is a true masterpiece, hardwood treated with 4 thick layers of black lacquer and embellished with genuine buffalo horn koiguchi, kojiri as well as kurikata. Carefully selected premium grade silk sageo and rayskin. With these details we proudly say that this Daisho set is excellent set for anyone who wants to own authentic functional handforged blades.
These real Daisho swords are extremely well balanced and suited for tameshigiri as well as battle. Senshi Erai Hito No Daishō swords can be purchased separately. These handforged blades come in an embroidered BattleBlades Inc. silk sword bag with a certificate of authenticity. Each sword is also serial numbered.
