Trees are ancient symbols of nature and life, and there are sacred trees in almost all (if not all) cultures. Trees live for a long time compared to us humans and some old trees can be imagined to have lived forever. Especially before it became possible to scientifically determine the age of trees, it was hard to imagine how many human lives one tree had seen and lived. Even today, 800-year-old trees grow in Finnish forests, which is almost as old as the entire written history of people living in Finland, and the world's oldest trees are up to 5,000 years old. So it's no wonder that trees have fascinated the human mind for as long as we have been thinking about and exploring the world.

This journal has thick embossed leather covers and inside you can find approx. 240 empty handmade paper pages waiting for your notes, drawings, spells, thoughts, travel plans, or whatever you fancy.
