Description of the Product
A cleric or nobleman wouldn't have left the house without his beret during the 1400’s, and merchants and farmers soon caught on, making the beret one of the most identifiable pieces of renaissance clothing. Berets came in an infinite number of variations, and there were no guidelines to their form or decoration. After renaissance berets have stayed in use going in and out of fashion through the centuries in 17th, 18th and 19th centuries up until modern times. Our beret is made of 100% cotton to keep your head cool in a duel or when out and about on a market. Part of the band is elasticated, so one size fits most.
Available in black or brown.
