Description of the Product

Despite the adulation and reverence given to the sword, the spear was generally the weapon of choice for Vikings. Used as throwing weapons and as pikes, spears were an indispensable part of their daily lives. This Viking spear is hand forged of tough, high carbon steel. Pole not included.

(9 ¼”) long, 5.1cm
(2”) wide, 4.8mm
(3/16”) thick. Steel socket 11.4cm
(9 ¼”) deep and diameter 28mm
(1 1/10”). Weight 450g (1 lb). Made by Windlass Steelcrafts.
