The spear is one of the oldest and most important of all hand weapons. Despite the adulation and reverence given to their sword, the spear was generally the weapon of choice for Vikings. Used as throwing weapons and as pikes, spears were an indispensable part of their daily lives, and much less costly to produce than swords. This long Viking throwing spear is hand forged of tough, high carbon steel. Pole not included.
