This Wood carving kit is a great introduction for beginners and a good challenge for the well-experienced. Everything you need for a whittling project fitted into one kit

The kit includes everything you need: a versatile whittling knife for shaping, a compact bent gouge for hollowing out the cup, and a pre-cut kuksa blank made from walnut. You’ll also get a leather strop with polishing compound to keep your tools sharp, five sheets of sandpaper to refine your piece, cut-resistant tape for safety, beeswax and mineral oil for finishing, and a leather lace for adding a loop to your finished kuksa. Step-by-step instructions are included to walk you through the process, in the form of a booklet and a link to a video tutorial.

  Super impressed! I'll admit I'm no historian, but the cloak I purchased was both fashionable and practical!
