Description of the Product

This crusader flag has the red cross of Saint George (patron saint of England) extending to the edges of the flag and a yellow equal-armed cross of William the Conqueror superimposed on the Saint George cross. It has been said that William was sent a consecrated banner by the pope, which he went on to carry at the battle of Hastings. Alternatively the symbolism of the flag can be read as the red cross of the Crusades accented by the gold cross of Jerusalem. The flag is double sided and made of indoor/outdoor polyester.

Measures 93 x 150 cm (36.6” x 59”) with metal grommets.
