Description of the Product

This Mercenary belt is made of plain heavy-grade leather, and it has a striking double buckle. It has been left otherwise undecorated, making it suitable for multiple purposes and making it time appropriate for numerous different historical periods.  Belts like this were for example used by Landsknehts during the early modern period. They served, among others, in the imperial army of the Holy Roman Empire during the tumultuos years of the European wars of religion. The belt's signature double buckle is based on a historical model, and similar buckles were used by pirates as well as Landsknehts.

The belt is available in black leather, it is 5 cm wide and made of solid 3 to 3.5 mm thick cowhide, with two narrow embossed lines along the sides, giving the belt a pleasing look. The belt is available in four sizes, ranging from a waist size 72 cm to 119,5 cm.

This sturdy Mercenary belt is ideal for any mercenary outfit, from Landskneht to pirate and beyond. And of course it can also be used as part of a modern outfit, to bring a bit of history to everyday life.

• L:  total length 120 cm, for a 92 - 109,5 cm waist.
• XL: total length 130 cm, for a 102 - 119,5 cm waist.
