Description of the Product
The Red Dragon throat protector is a must have piece of safety kit for the modern hema fencer. The tip of a fencing sword can easily slide between the fencing mask bib and gambeson during a thrust, potentially leading to a serious injury. These throat protectors, when worn as a complete set with proper gambeson and mask will help to protect the front and sides of the neck in such a scenario. Originally known as a 'gorget', these fencing throat protectors are attached using a velcro and an elastic band for ease of use and a wide range of adjustability. One size fits all, child to adult. The flexible hard plastic insert is padded for comfort. Durable fabric covering.
