About Pirate Weapons

During the Age of Exploration, as seafarers ventured into uncharted territories, they relied on a variety of weapons for both defense and conquest. Muskets and flintlock pistols became prevalent due to their range and firepower. Cutlasses and rapiers were favored by sailors, pirates and explorers for their versatility in close combat. Pirates also wielded axes and daggers, handy for close-quarters combat. Some pirates even modified their weapons, adding hidden blades and poison-tipped darts for surprise attacks.
